As the lead Internist of this practice for new practice.  Established the initial patient pool and marketed the business.  As a new practice, daily patient load averaged 15 patients per day, allowing  superb care to patients and create a strong patient following.   Daily performed preventative medicine including women’s health and EKG’s, as well as read Holter monitors and Polysomnograms when ordered.  Left due to financial issues of the practice.   

EDUCATION – TEACHING 

Medical School:  One of three selected tutors in Medical school to tutor both Anatomy and Physiology as well as Medical Physiology as a second year student to the first year medical students.  Maintained this throughout third and fourth years of medical school, while participating in clinical rotations.                  

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Goals of 2010 would be to investigate the relationship of migraine headaches with estrogen and progesterone surges in premenapausal women, and possible modalities to combat these debilitating headaches without the use of triptans.  

PERSONAL/EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
