Duties include:  

• Evaluation and treatment of adult and pediatric burn patients at the Burn Unit of the hospital with emphasis on patients’ needs for assistive devices, splints, education on post-burn care, ambulation training, therapeutic exercise
• Evaluation and treatment of adult and pediatric wound and burn patients in the Wound Clinic of the hospital with emphasis on use of correct judgment on appropriate dressings and compression needs such as unna boots, use of specialized dressings and negative pressure wound therapy, use of selective sharp debridement, enzymatic debridement, autolytic debridement and/or mechanical debridement
• Objective clinical assessment using advanced equipment such as Laser Doppler and Doppler Ultrasound equipment in obtaining ABI (Ankle Brachial Index) and SPP (Skin Perfusion Pressure) levels
• Evaluation and treatment of  inpatient clients in various floors of the hospital including ICUs, Medical floors and Transitional Care Units with emphasis on patients’ needs for assistive devices, ambulation training, therapeutic exercise instruction and transfer training
• Supervises the wound clinic in the absence of supervisor.  Duties include staffing, productivity reviews, communication with the therapy referral center, communication with physicians and case managers and maintaining a smooth-running outpatient clinic
